Description: Railroads within Harris County - Status codes created to determine type or class of Rail record /segment throughout Harris County. Codes are the following: ACTIVE - Main Tracks; SWITCH - Rail Switch between Tracks; YARD - Rail Yard, some named and some unnamed; and SPUR - catchall for tracks lead off from ACTIVE (Main Tracks), Four additional Status codes: INACTIVE - Main Track not in use; SWITCH INACTIVE - Switch no longer in use, YARD INACTIVE - Rail Yard not in iuse. and SPUR INACTIVE - Spur no longer in use. These four are kept due for current use by Harris County Tax Office for individual Voting Precinct boundaries.Aerial Imagery used for Rectification or aligment of Railroad Feature Class to Aerial. There is a column titled Rectificaiton contains three sets of data or information. Blank or Null - no alignment performed; 2014 - 2014 Aerial Imagery used for Recitification of that record/segment; and 2016 - 2016 Aerial Imagery used for Rectification of that record/segment.2014 Aerial Imagery used from August 2014 to November 2016, Majority of Records.sgements aligned to this year. Note - due to development since 2014 Aerial was processed some records/segments will not be aligned to the 2016 Aerial Imager.2016 Aerial Imagery being used starting in November 2016 and going forward.Individual Railroad records/segments associated with the City, County, Postal City and Zip Code that each reside within. Note - where a portion of a Railroad record spans mulitple Cities, Counties, Postal Citys and/or Zip Codes it has been so divided to reflect this split.The word "COUNTY" is used under CITY_L and/or CITY_R where that Railroad record is outside of an corporated area (City Limtis). Comment field - 200 characters field for each Railroad record summarizies history of edits made to that record.
