Service Description: The digital data used to create the files was taken from the forms system within the RRC, from the General Land Office (GLO) county survey maps, and, United States Geological Survey (USGS) quadrangle maps. The locations of interstate and intrastate gas and liquids pipelines. The dataset was derived from RRC T-4 Permit ("Application for Permit to Operate a Pipeline in Texas") applications to facilitate regulatory functions of the Pipeline Safety Section of the RRC. Mapping data sets are provided for informational purposes only. These data sets are continually being updated and refined. Users are responsible for checking the accuracy, completeness, currency, and/or suitability of these data sets themselves. Last acquired 7/7/2017
